I think what this means is that everyone has controlled over there own life. That everyone could decide what future they want. Also that its there life and they can do whatever they want with it because everyone has there own life and there own way on taking control over there life. For example no one can change your life becuase if your blaming that person there not the ones that change it, it was you because you were the one that decide to change it.

"Goodness is the only investment that never fails"

Henry David Thoreau

I think that this means is that everything can probably fail but that goodness wont. For example that if you choose the Goodness over something negative then youll probably regret it and all it would do is bring you fails in life. Also that do the right thing and that dont make others choose what you dont want to. Always, Always think postitive and do the positive thing.

"When I do good, I feel good.
When I do bad, I feel bad."
Abraham Lincoln
I think what this means is that when you do the right thing for others or for your own self then you will feel good about doing the right thing. If you do something bad or something you regret and want to change it then you will feel bad. For example your ask do drink alcohol and you actually drink it then you probably feel bad. Another reason is if you actually say no then your going to feel good about yourself.

'You have only always to do what is right. It will become easier by parctice, and you enjoy inthe midst of your   trials the pleasure of an approving conscience.
Robert E.Lee

I believe this means to never make something bad dont do what people want you to do. If you know your doing something wrong dont do it you just need to think before you do something you might regret. Do the things in a positive way dont go the low way or negative way meaning to bad chioces or bad things that might harm you later on in life. Do everything the positive way even though we all make mistakes in life we know the right thing and the wrong so always to the right thing for you and for others.

              (3) It looks like a solitary spot, but it takes a team.

She met her goal and if someone accomplish such a hard and surprising goal we could also accomplish what we want in life. I never thought about someone swimming this much, day and night swimming to reach her goal and I am really proud of her for being the first girl to make such a hard goal on swimming for so long and accomplishing it.
