Duties and Responsibilities: The types of things the
Ophthalmologist do is be with patients that have problems with the eye vision
and also help them in
the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. If it’s necessary they even
perform eye surgery. They
work in private practice, however some are employed by hospitals or
clinics, and others perform research.

Education: The only people that can study to be an
Ophthalmologist is physicians.
After completing medical school
and an internship then they must then complete a three to five year
residency and that must be done approved ophthalmology program. After completing their
residency program then they have to or must pass an examination to be certified.
