Responsibilities: The things that Ophthalmic Technician do is help collect data and measurements to allow the
correct diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and problems. They work at clinics,
hospitals, or for ophthalmologists in private practice.
Their duties are assisting eye surgery, performing simple eye exams.

Education:
To be an ophthalmic technician you have to have
a high school diploma or a GED
and two years of college
prior to beginning ophthalmic training programs. These types of
programs may take about more than 2 years.
