Duties and Responsibilities: They
work to specialize mental illness. They have the right to give prescriptions. Psychiatrists
work for the government and they have their own private practice, work in
hospitals, clinics, or universities. They design treatment programs. They also
are supervising electrotherapy treatment.
Salary: $90,000-$200,000
Education: You need the
requirements for a degree in osteopathic medicine or allopathic, psychiatrists
must complete a three year residency in psychiatry.
