Duties and Responsibilities: Sports medicine is a medicine
that deals with physical fitness, treatment and prevention of injuries related
to sports and exercise. They treat sprains and strains, knee injuries, swollen
muscles, Achilles tendon injuries, pain along the skin bone, fractures, and
dislocations. The treatment often begins with the rice method.
Salary: In the Unites States the
salary is between $41,022-$243,764.
Education: Students need to take the most high school challenging
courses in math, science, and English. Many students need a Bachelor’s Degree
with a pre-med concentration that gives them a solid foundation in biology.
